Sharon has also experienced the development and operation of a new Adult Day Care Facility in Hingham and a Social Day Care in Andover. Prior to the COAs, Sharon worked for fourteen years in the nursing home setting in Therapeutic Recreation and as Instructor for Activity Certification Courses. During those years, she obtained her Master's Degree in Gerontology from New Hampshire College and her Nursing Home Administrator's License in Massachusetts.

Sharon's experience also includes a brief stint at Lesley University's Threshold Program, where she taught human services vocational skills to students with learning disabilities. She acquired her Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State College in Home Economics Secondary Education. Sharon is a MCOA (Massachusetts COA Association) Certified Senior Center Director and a Past President of MCOA. She was also a Massachusetts Delegate-At-Large to the National Institute of Senior Center's Delegate Council, a constituent unit of the National Council on the Aging.

Ms. Lally was born and raised in the SouthCoast Massachusetts area, and now resides in Lakeville, MA, with her husband.
