Volunteering at Rochester COA

Currently, the Rochester Council on Aging is fortunate to have over 150 dedicated volunteers of all ages, who do so much to enhance our total senior center operation.

If you would like to volunteer with us, please stop by the Senior Center and pick up your Volunteer Packet and register with us.

Volunteer positions include working with the Breakfast Program, as well as many other positions. We are also open to other ideas for volunteering that would benefit our seniors.

Friendly Visitor Volunteers

Trained Friendly Visitor volunteers are matched up with homebound and/or isolated Rochester seniors for weekly social visits and conversation. The Program is operated by the Council on Aging.

New volunteers are always welcome, and new client participants are quickly matched up with a volunteer.

Call our Outreach Worker at the Senior Center for more information, or to sign up for a visit or to be a visitor.
